As always, we hope you are enjoying your fall. It is that time of year when among other things we can focus on trees. Actually, not the tree as much as its leaves. They pick this time of the year to leap to the ground giving all of us a chance to exercise more than we want to.
Our team has not been that active in the past month as we take this time to plan for the coming year. We are investigating how we can learn more about our local farmers’ perception of the current weather patterns and what they would like us to understand about their operations and the climate.
Following is a three-minute video we think you might enjoy:

Two small things we can do to help care for our Common Home:
Be content without more, even if you have the means for more. Be kind to foreigners and immigrants.
Father, we praise you with all your creatures. Son of God, you became part of this earth. Holy Spirit, by your light you accompany creation as it groans in travail.
Factoid:
We see stories often about global warming. As most of us get confused between temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit, we hope this explanation will help:
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius, and boils at 100 degrees C, while in Fahrenheit, water freezes at 32 degrees F and boils at 212 degrees F. You see that Celsius has 100 degrees between the freezing and boiling point, whereas Fahrenheit has 180 degrees between these two points. One degree Celsius is 1.8 times larger than one degree Fahrenheit.
