Caring Hands is a group of volunteers dedicated to assisting the families of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in the many areas of life's daily challenges. Often it is as simple as sharing a few hours a month visiting a shut-in, perhaps taking the Eucharist to them.
Pastoral care is a necessary, sustaining service for parish life. Its name suggests the work of shepherds caring for their flock. Our Caring Hands Ministry at St. Thomas has come into being in that spirit, the same spirit in which Christ calls each of us to share our love and compassion with those in need.
We are asking if you have a few hours a month you would like to share with someone, to consider volunteering for Caring Hands. We need your hands to successfully continue this rewarding work. It is a great opportunity to serve as Jesus did.
